  • Check chassis for dents scratches or chips in painted or galvanised finish
  • Check suspension spring mountings & bolts, shock absorbers & mounting bushes for damage or wear, grease all points
  • Check mud flaps for damage and mounting
  • Check coupling attachment bolts
  • Check safety chain condition and mounting to A frame
  • Check jockey wheel operation and mounting
  • Check park brake operation
  • Check electric brake operation, brake wiring and park brake operation
  • Check external light operation including taillights & clearance markers
